About the role#
As a Strategic Sourcing Supply Chain Intern, you will work across our purchasing, operations, and engineering groups. You will help develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned goods and services. This role involves working with our global supply base to meet departmental and corporate goals.
What you'll do#
- Research and identify new potential sources for goods and services.
- Gather information for quotes and analyze them to recommend sourcing plans.
- Negotiate long term agreements with suppliers.
- Build data analytics tools to improve decision-making.
- Support buyers and purchasing agents with daily procurement tasks.
- Maintain regular communication with our supply base to sustain partnerships.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Business, Accounting, Finance, Operations Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
