About the role#
This internship supports the logistics network responsible for transporting production parts across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico into Nissan vehicle manufacturing facilities. You will gain experience in supply chain strategy and logistics planning to help optimize operations and improve network performance.
What you'll do#
- Create new data analysis tools and improve existing reporting processes.
- Analyze supply chain and transportation data to find performance improvements.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to source and validate data.
- Build dashboards, visualizations, and analytical models to support decision making.
- Identify ways to automate daily operations, forecasting, and logistics planning tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Status as a student entering your Junior, Senior, or Master's program at the start of the upcoming term.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for analysis and automation.
- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and visualization tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
