About the role#
The Environmental Engineer Intern will support our sustainability and environmental functions. You will work on project assignments and tasks that assist our engineers and operations teams. This role focuses on promoting sustainable practices and environmental awareness within our business planning and operational processes.
What you'll do#
- Work on special sustainability and environmental projects.
- Provide technical environmental sustainability and compliance services to operations.
- Assist in compiling and preparing Environmental Key Performance Metrics, including waste, recycling, and energy data.
- Review Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and update them in the system as needed.
- Upgrade Environmental and Green Team SharePoint sites.
- Provide technical assistance to management and employees regarding compliance, permitting, and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.

- Location: Appleton, Wisconsin.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- Compensation: This position is paid.
