About the role#
This internship provides support to the Human Resources department at Pierce Manufacturing. You will gain hands-on experience by working on a variety of HR projects and daily tasks. This is a paid, full-time summer position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with recruiting activities, including pre-screening candidates, scheduling, and conducting interviews.
- Help facilitate company training sessions such as New Employee Orientation, Harassment Prevention, and Ethics.
- Manage confidential employee and applicant information within various HRIS systems.
- Organize and participate in employee engagement events, including Employee Roundtables and Service Award Luncheons.
- Conduct research and provide administrative support for various Human Resources and Benefits projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Human Resources Management or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week, throughout the summer of 2027.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
