About the role#
Dana Incorporated is hiring an HR Co-Op to work at our corporate headquarters in Maumee, Ohio. You will support our human resources team on daily operations and business initiatives. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Process HR transactions in our HRIS, including new hire onboarding, data changes, and offboarding.
- Prepare for new employee arrivals to ensure a smooth first day.
- Assist with recruiting tasks such as adding requisitions, maintaining job descriptions, and generating reports.
- Handle HR reporting and manage special projects as assigned.
- Support the department with various ongoing initiatives and tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.
- You have at least 1-2 years of previous work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- You must demonstrate excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- We require high standards for confidentiality and business ethics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is preferred.
- You work well in team environments and communicate professionally with people at all levels.
