About the role#
The Program Management Intern supports the Light Vehicle Driveline team within the GM/Stellantis Customer group. You will gain exposure to the full vehicle lifecycle and work with teams that bring automotive solutions to market. This role involves customer engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and commercial processes. You will present your projects, learnings, and suggestions to Dana leadership at the end of the internship.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the completion of program management projects.
- Support cross-functional communication for project-timing charts and schedules.
- Participate in extended support of operations, quality, or engineering.
- Ensure adequate resources are assigned and elevate deficiencies.
- Act as a Dana stakeholder contact for customer program inquiries.
- Identify program risks and develop contingency plans.
- Manage project activities, publish minutes and tasks, and follow up on open issues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Sales, Engineering, or Business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Effective listening and cross-functional communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with limited supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to travel if necessary.
- Previous co-op experience within the automotive industry or at Dana is a plus.
