About the role#
This internship within the test bench group offers the opportunity to work on concrete mandates in a validation and verification laboratory for electric motors. The position is a full-time, paid role based on-site in Boucherville, Quebec, running from early September through the end of December 2026.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to design assembly instructions and work orders for laboratory operators.
- Design new tooling for use in the test laboratory.
- Perform validation tests for fastening devices.
- Execute test setups and configurations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a 3rd or 4th-year student in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Proficiency in Siemens NX 3D modeling software. Experience with other CAD software such as CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, or Solid Edge will be considered.
- Strong practical mechanical skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with hydraulic equipment is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems and programmable logic controllers (PLC) is considered an asset.
