About the role#
The F&B Omni Care Internship is a hands-on training program at Omni La Mansión del Rio. You will work as a utility player, rotating through various food and beverage outlets and banquet events based on business needs. This role offers an opportunity to learn different aspects of the hotel business. High performance during this internship may lead to acceptance into the Leader in Development program.
What you'll do#
- Work in various entry-level service positions across the property.
- Rotate between food and beverage outlets and banquet events.
- Attend to guest needs and anticipate their requests.
- Participate in training and enrichment seminars throughout the season.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Demonstrate teamwork and flexibility in your schedule.
What you'll need#
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in customer service is preferred.
- A willingness to learn and take on different projects.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Capability to walk, sit, stand, squat, and lean for extended periods.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Sociology.
