About the role#
NXP Semiconductors is hiring for a Digital Verification Intern for the summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Austin, Texas. You will work with engineering teams to support verification activities and contribute to design quality.
What you'll do#
- Write test scenarios, run simulations, and analyze results with team guidance.
- Debug design issues and help maintain test environments.
- Improve verification coverage.
- Coordinate with design and methodology teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Prepare documentation and reports that summarize project status, findings, and next steps.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of verification practices.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
- A strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, technical documentation, testing, and problem solving.
- Familiarity with relevant engineering, design, verification, or programming tools.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly in English.
- You must be returning to school or graduating at the end of the internship term.
- Hands-on experience from coursework, lab work, student competitions, or previous internships is a plus.
