About the role#
NXP Semiconductors is looking for a Demand Planning Intern to join our supply chain team in Austin. You will gain hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry by helping our team improve the accuracy and efficiency of demand forecasting.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer forecasts.
- Build forecasting models using statistics, machine learning, and AI techniques.
- Create KPIs and analytical tools to spot demand patterns, risks, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Learn and apply NXP demand planning systems and software with guidance from the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's or PhD program for Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with data science programming languages like Python or R.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A proactive approach and a desire to learn.
- You must be returning to school or graduating at the end of the internship term.
