About the role#
NXP Semiconductors is hiring a Digital Validation Intern for Summer 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Austin, Texas. You will work with our teams to ensure product quality through hands-on testing and technical documentation.
What you'll do#
- Prepare test setups and execute validation activities.
- Collect data and summarize results for the team.
- Assist with debugging issues and improving test coverage.
- Document observations and maintain technical records.
- Work alongside design, systems, and software teams to resolve issues.
- Focus on disciplined test execution and technical learning.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, previous internships, or student competitions.
- Familiarity with engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a foundation in engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly in English.
- You must be returning to school or graduating at the end of the internship term.
