About the role#
Northrop Grumman is hiring Product Support Engineering interns for the Aeronautics Systems program in Melbourne, Florida. This is a full-time summer 2027 internship. You will work in a team environment, interacting with customers and other developers to support engineering projects.
What you'll do#
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, and systems.
- Work from engineering drawings and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Operate equipment and conduct tests while reporting data in a prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks.
- Make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university.
- Graduation date after August 2027.
- Major in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher is preferred.
- Previous internship or co-op experience, leadership skills, and teamwork capabilities are preferred.
