About the role#
We are seeking an Electrical Engineering intern to join the Transformation Computing Program within our Mission Systems division. This role focuses on superconductive technologies and provides an opportunity to contribute to projects that support global security. You will work on-site in McClellan, California, for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to FPGA and ASIC design tasks.
- Participate in the full product life cycle process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
- Must be enrolled full-time in the Fall 2027 semester.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Preference for a cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher.
- Experience with programming languages like C++, Python, or Java is preferred.
- Familiarity with schematics, lab equipment, and signal processing is a plus.
- Interest in communications theory, digital systems, and analog electronics is beneficial.
- Experience with Model-based Engineering, DevSecOps, Agile practices, or existing TS/SCI clearances is considered a plus.
