About the role#
Northrop Grumman is seeking Software Engineering interns for our Space Systems Sector. This internship provides an opportunity to work on electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical systems. You will gain hands-on experience while contributing to projects within our engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, and devices.
- Work from engineering drawings and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Operate related equipment and conduct tests according to established procedures.
- Report data in a prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks.
- Make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a STEM field at an accredited college or university.
- Proof of full-time enrollment status for the Fall 2027 semester.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- U.S. citizenship, which is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Program Special access.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher is preferred.
