About the role#
Nordson Corporation is looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join the team in Minneapolis. You will work alongside Electrical and Firmware Engineering teams to improve product quality and productivity. This role focuses on hands-on development and troubleshooting to support our engineering processes.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot field electronics issues.
- Develop and maintain JTAG tests for new and existing electronics assemblies.
- Assist in the creation of electrical schematics.
- Participate in design reviews for electrical schematics.
- Investigate electronics assemblies that show non-conformities to validated designs.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Completed coursework or experience in Electronics and Principles of Electronics Design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with schematic capture tools like OrCAD is a plus.
- Experience with Verilog or VHDL is a plus.
