About the role#
This summer internship offers electrical engineering students the chance to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects. You will work directly with skilled professionals in the machinery manufacturing industry, gaining hands-on experience through a full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Use software tools to create new and sustaining schematics and harnesses for various systems.
- Help build prototype machines for new and sustaining systems.
- Participate in quality assurance activities within a manufacturing environment.
- Perform quality analysis to support system and component improvements.
- Build troubleshooting skills by using machine operation, schematics, and measurement tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in an Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree program.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule for the duration of the summer term.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- Positions are located on-site in Bismarck, North Dakota; Gwinner, North Dakota; or Statesville, North Carolina.
- This role does not offer sponsorship.
