About the role#
The Technology Summer Analyst Program within Global Execution Services Technology offers a 10-week experience centered on high-performance trading platforms. You will work alongside Nomura professionals to develop systems that support electronic execution capabilities. This role involves direct interaction with the front office to build solutions that handle high volumes of daily transactions.
What you'll do#
- Build and integrate applications used directly by business stakeholders.
- Take ownership of critical application components through hands-on development.
- Partner with QA teams to perform unit and integration testing on your work.
- Coordinate with business analysts to define project requirements and scope.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Familiarity with Web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, JSP, or ASP, and Unix Shell or Perl scripting.
- A strong grasp of logical data structures and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Strong academic performance and a high GPA.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Annualized rate of $95,000 to $105,000, depending on degree program enrollment. This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime.
