About the role#
The Investment Banking Summer Associate Program is a ten-week internship based in San Francisco. You will join the Greentech team, which focuses on M&A and strategic advisory for sustainable technology and infrastructure. The program includes one week of intensive training followed by a nine-week placement. You will work alongside investment bankers on live transactions and client-facing initiatives, gaining exposure similar to a first-year Associate. You will also participate in business-led discussion groups, networking events, and speaker sessions while receiving guidance from both junior and senior mentors.
What you'll do#
- Work with clients and execution teams on live transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital raisings, financings, and derivative transactions.
- Generate and present ideas at client meetings.
- Support transactions and client presentations through financial, structural, and business risk analysis.
- Participate in pitching and winning new mandates.
- Manage Analysts to execute deliverables and support the training of junior professionals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an MBA, MS, MES, MA, MEM, or other graduate degree program.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Outstanding academic qualifications.
- Interest in business opportunities within sustainable infrastructure, technology, and industrial disruption.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Enthusiasm for both quantitative and qualitative work.

- Compensation: Paid at an annualized rate of $175,000, pro-rated for the duration of the internship.
