About the role#
The Internal Audit Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week opportunity designed to integrate you into the team as a full member. You will work alongside professionals, benefit from a peer buddy system, and receive guidance from a senior mentor. This program serves as a primary pipeline for full-time recruiting. You will gain exposure to inherent risk identification, internal control testing, and business risk monitoring.
What you'll do#
- Participate in all phases of audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Conduct research using professional literature and industry resources.
- Review and interpret internal policies and external regulations.
- Support data analytics and testing procedures.
- Engage with business stakeholders during meetings and process walkthroughs.
- Document and analyze test results.
- Present findings to audit leadership.
- Contribute to developing audit recommendations and action plans.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an outstanding academic record.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Preferred majors include Accounting, Finance, Economics, or English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of financial products.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative team player mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to multitask.
- Self-motivated with a drive for continuous learning.
- Intellectual curiosity.
