About the role#
The Investment Banking Summer Associate Program is a ten-week internship based in San Francisco. You will join the Greentech team, which focuses on mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory within sustainable technology and infrastructure. The program includes an initial week of intensive training followed by nine weeks embedded within the team. You will work as a full member of the deal team with exposure to senior bankers and opportunities for professional mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Work with clients and execution teams on live transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital raisings, financings, and derivative transactions.
- Generate and present ideas during client meetings.
- Support transactions and client presentations by performing financial, structural, and business risk analysis.
- Participate in efforts to pitch and win new mandates from clients.
- Manage Analysts to execute deliverables and support the training of junior professionals.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an MBA, MS, MES, MA, MEM, or another graduate degree from an accredited university.
- You are on track to graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong academic background with a focus on Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Interest in business opportunities related to sustainable infrastructure, technology, and industrial disruption.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytic, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn on the job.
- Ability to handle both quantitative and qualitative tasks.

- Compensation: Paid at an annualized rate of $175,000, pro-rated for the duration of the program.
