About the role#
Join the Nokia AI team in Sunnyvale to design, build, and deploy LLM and agent-based solutions. This hands-on R&D role focuses on tool-using agents, evaluations, and real-world product development. You will have the opportunity to deliver AI systems that impact production.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML models and algorithms to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Design and implement machine learning models to improve applications including search, forecasting, and text mining.
- Develop and implement agentic-based systems for applications such as anomaly detection and root-cause analysis.
- Optimize existing machine learning models and pipelines for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Currently a candidate for a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of machine learning, optimization algorithms, and deep-learning techniques.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Experience with search engines, vector databases, and their algorithms.
- Experience with big data frameworks and technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and Cassandra.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
