As an Embedded Software Trainee, you will contribute to the development of real-time embedded software and firmware for optical transport systems. You will take ownership of technical projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Experience developing embedded software in C/C++ on RTOS-based platforms.

• Knowledge of firmware development, interrupt handling, low-level drivers, and timing-critical systems.

• Experience working with ARM processors, hardware interfaces, and multi-processor architectures.

• Familiarity with FPGA/CPLD integration and hardware-software interaction.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.  

It would be nice if you had:

• Experience with embedded Linux or other operating systems used in embedded development.

• Exposure to optical networking, telecommunications, or networking protocols.

• Experience using debugging tools, version control systems, and software development best practices.

• Develop and maintain embedded software and firmware using C/C++ for optical transport systems.

• Design, implement, integrate, and verify real-time embedded solutions from requirements through deployment.

• Support development on RTOS-based platforms, including low-level drivers, interrupt handling, and control firmware.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware, ARM processors, and FPGA-based components.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues involving software, hardware, optics, and multi-processor architectures.  

• Experience developing embedded software in C/C++ on RTOS-based platforms.
