About the role#
As an Early Careers Talent Acquisition Student, you will join the Americas Early Careers team to support the Nokia Canada Campus Program. You will help connect student talent with opportunities at Nokia by fostering relationships in the Ottawa area and promoting our brand as a Campus Ambassador.
What you'll do#
- Support administrative and reporting tasks.
- Collaborate with line managers to support local student initiatives in Ottawa.
- Assist the Canada Campus Program Manager in organizing internal and external events.
- Act as a Campus Ambassador to promote Nokia opportunities to students.
- Bring fresh, creative ideas to improve our campus hiring strategies.
- Help plan and execute onboarding programs for new students.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field at an accredited Canadian institution.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Ability to manage tasks and deadlines using planning tools.
- Knowledge of PowerBI, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint or Canva.
- Experience using social media for communication and promotion.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to engage with different levels of the organization.
- Experience with event planning.
- Experience in reporting and data metrics.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Ottawa, Ontario.
- The term runs from January 4, 2027, to August 27, 2027, covering the Winter and Summer 2027 terms.
