About the role#
Join the Software Operations team at our Elgin facility for a full-stack engineering internship. You will take ownership across all phases of the software development lifecycle. This role provides hands-on architectural experience and involves working directly with core software infrastructure, including the Software Factory, CCSI systems, and global licensing and distribution platforms.
What you'll do#
- Build, deploy, and maintain custom applications from scratch across a three-layer architecture, including the front-end, business logic, and backend database layers.
- Execute high-level system architecture and low-level design, such as data modeling and database schema design.
- Lead stakeholder discussions to translate business needs into technical requirements and project execution plans.
- Maintain and enhance existing tools supporting our Software Factory, CCSI, and licensing ecosystems.
- Perform end-to-end testing, deploy tools into production, and deliver user training to business stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Expected graduation date no later than December 2028.
