About the role#
Join the Nokia AI team in Sunnyvale to design, build, and deploy LLM and agent-based solutions. This hands-on R&D role focuses on tool-using agents, evaluations, and real-world product development. You will have the opportunity to deliver AI systems that impact production.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML models and algorithms to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Implement machine learning models to improve applications such as search, forecasting, and text mining.
- Develop agentic-based systems for tasks including anomaly detection and root-cause analysis.
- Optimize machine learning models and pipelines for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master’s or PhD program for Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited US school.
- Proficiency in machine learning, optimization algorithms, and deep-learning techniques.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with search engines, vector databases, and their underlying algorithms.
- Knowledge of big data frameworks such as Spark, Kafka, and Cassandra.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
