About the role#
Join the Nokia AI team in Sunnyvale for a hands-on R&D co-op. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying LLM and agent-based solutions. You will work on tool-using agents, evaluations, and real-world product development with the goal of delivering production-impacting AI systems.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML models and algorithms to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Implement machine learning models to improve applications like search, forecasting, and text mining.
- Develop agentic-based systems for tasks such as anomaly detection and root-cause analysis.
- Optimize existing machine learning models and pipelines for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience with machine learning, optimization algorithms, and deep-learning techniques.
- Proficiency with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of search engines, vector databases, and their underlying algorithms.
- Experience with big data frameworks such as Spark, Kafka, and Cassandra.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-player mindset.
