About the role#
Join the Nokia AI team in Sunnyvale to design, build, and deploy LLM and agent-based solutions. This hands-on R&D position focuses on tool-using agents, evaluations, and real-world product development. You will have the opportunity to contribute to production-impacting AI systems.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML models and algorithms to analyze complex data.
- Implement machine learning models to improve search, forecasting, and text mining applications.
- Build agentic-based systems for anomaly detection and root-cause analysis.
- Optimize machine learning models and pipelines for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with machine learning, optimization algorithms, and deep-learning techniques.
- Proficiency in frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of search engines, vector databases, and their underlying algorithms.
- Familiarity with big data technologies including Spark, Kafka, and Cassandra.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
