About the role#
Join the Sunnyvale AI team to design, build, and deploy LLM and agent-based solutions. This hands-on R&D role focuses on tool-using agents, evaluations, and real-world product development. You will have the opportunity to contribute to production-impacting AI systems.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML models and algorithms to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Implement machine learning models to improve applications including search, forecasting, and text mining.
- Develop agentic-based systems for tasks such as anomaly detection and root-cause analysis.
- Optimize existing machine learning models and pipelines for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Currently a candidate for a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of machine learning, optimization algorithms, and deep-learning techniques.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with search engines, vector databases, and big data frameworks like Spark, Kafka, and Cassandra.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

- Location: On-site in Sunnyvale, California.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to May).
- Duration: 4 months.
