About the role#
Join the Nokia AI team in Sunnyvale to design, build, and deploy LLM and agent-based solutions. This hands-on R&D role focuses on tool-using agents, evaluations, and real-world product development. You will have the opportunity to contribute to production-impacting AI systems.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML models and algorithms to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Implement machine learning models to improve applications such as search, forecasting, and text mining.
- Develop agentic-based systems for tasks including anomaly detection and root-cause analysis.
- Optimize existing machine learning models and pipelines to improve performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Experience with machine learning, optimization algorithms, and deep-learning techniques.
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of search engines, vector databases, and their underlying algorithms.
- Familiarity with big data frameworks and technologies including Spark, Kafka, and Cassandra.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
