About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship program starting in May 2027. You will join the renewable generation department to work on projects that meet utility facility needs. You will learn within a team environment, complete tasks, and collaborate with staff on various projects. This role provides an overview of operations and industry events.
What you'll do#
- Assist and work under the guidance of renewable generation staff.
- Evaluate and provide project management support for electric generation facilities.
- Collect and analyze data while reviewing records.
- Gather information to create work orders or purchase requisitions.
- Perform field measurements.
- Read and interpret legal agreements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET accredited, four-year Engineering, Business, or Operations program.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate study.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Proficiency with PC applications, specifically M365.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must reside within 50 miles of the reporting location.
- Ability to communicate technical or business concepts effectively.
