About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship program starting in May 2027. You will join the department as an integral team member, working on projects while gaining an overview of utility operations. This role is open to students entering their junior or senior year in fall 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of the operations work plan.
- Gather environmental files from the public domain and add them to the Geographic Information System.
- Support and coach business-led Customer Value teams.
- Help Transformation Office Consultants and Governance Lead positions with various activities.
- Perform data collection and reporting for operating budgets and forecasts.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university.
- Major in GIS, Engineering, Accounting, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience working independently.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Note: Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the reporting location.
