About the role#
As a Data Engineering Intern, you will be embedded within a team to work on high-impact projects. You will gain hands-on experience by applying data engineering principles to solve large-scale problems while collaborating with data scientists, analysts, product managers, and senior engineers.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical needs into scalable data solutions.
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain robust data pipelines.
- Create data products that address complex business questions.
- Learn and implement data modeling best practices.
- Improve the automation and scalability of complex data sets.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a full-time M.S. or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2026, Summer 2027, or later.
- Must be returning to school for at least one semester or quarter following the completion of the internship.
- Solid programming proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Strong foundational knowledge of SQL and data structures and algorithms.
