About the role#
The Analytics Engineer Intern will join the Content Decision Sciences and Conversation Scaling team to build infrastructure, tools, and frameworks that enable data practitioners to deliver insights more efficiently. This role focuses on scaling data impact across the organization by developing systems that allow analysts, data scientists, and business partners to access information faster. You will work on projects that emphasize long-term technical solutions over individual analyses.
What you'll do#
- Build scalable tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to support data practitioners across the company.
- Develop reusable data pipelines, automated workflows, and self-service analytics solutions to reduce manual effort and accelerate decision-making.
- Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify scaling opportunities and translate them into technical solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of the analytics platform by prototyping new capabilities and testing innovative approaches to insight delivery.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related analytics field, graduating in December 2026, Summer 2027, or later.
- Must be returning to school for at least one semester or quarter following the Summer 2026 internship.
- Proficiency in Big Data SQL (e.g., Spark, Trino) and pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Metaflow).
- Experience building reusable analytics infrastructure, such as data models and metric frameworks, and designing scalable self-service BI or visualization solutions (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across both technical and non-technical teams.
- A detail-oriented approach with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments with minimal process.
