About the role#
The Analytics Engineer Intern for Content Decision Sciences and Conversation Scaling will focus on building infrastructure, tools, and frameworks that enable data practitioners to work more efficiently. This role is centered on creating systems that multiply the impact of data teams across the organization, rather than delivering individual analyses. You will work within a team to simplify complex systems and improve how data is accessed and utilized.
What you'll do#
- Build scalable tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to enable data practitioners to deliver insights more efficiently.
- Develop reusable data pipelines, automated workflows, and self-service analytics solutions to reduce manual effort and accelerate decision-making.
- Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify scaling opportunities and translate them into technical solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of the analytics platform by prototyping new capabilities and testing innovative approaches to insight delivery.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related analytics field, with a graduation date of December 2026, Summer 2027, or later.
- Must be returning to school for at least one semester or quarter following the summer internship.
- Proficiency in Big Data SQL (such as Spark or Trino) and pipeline orchestration tools (such as Airflow or Metaflow).
- Experience building reusable analytics infrastructure, including data models and metric frameworks.
- Experience designing scalable self-service BI or visualization solutions using tools like Tableau or Looker.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in environments with minimal process and a comfort with ambiguity.
