Human Resources Intern

About the role#

NASCAR Speedpark Smoky Mountains is looking for a Human Resources Intern to provide administrative and operational support to our HR department. This role offers hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations within a family entertainment environment. You will work on-site in Sevierville, Tennessee, on a full-time, rolling basis.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the full hiring cycle, including reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and preparing materials for management.
• Manage onboarding tasks such as processing paperwork, conducting background checks, and setting up orientation sessions.
• Create and maintain organized employee files and HR documentation while ensuring strict confidentiality.
• Support our international student program by assisting with arrival processes and documentation.
• Help team members with daily needs, including uniform distribution, nametags, and general inquiries.
• Maintain the organization of the HR office and conference spaces.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a degree program related to Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology.
• Prior experience in an administrative, office, or customer service role.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Clear communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.

• Location: Sevierville, Tennessee.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Full-time with availability for day, night, and weekend shifts.
