About the role#
The Human Resources Intern supports the recruiting, training, and development functions at Texas Original. You will gain hands-on experience with full cycle recruitment, project management, and our Learning Management System. This position provides a broad introduction to core HR operations in a hybrid environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the recruiting team with the full cycle recruitment process, from posting requisitions to screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and help source candidates.
- Administer training and development programs while updating course content and tracking completions in the Learning Management System.
- Assist the Culture Committee with planning and executing employee engagement events.
- Provide general administrative support and help manage HR project timelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee and candidate information.
- Ability to reliably commute between our Austin and Bastrop locations.

- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
- The role is hybrid, requiring travel between Austin, Texas, and Bastrop, Texas.
