About the role#
The Food Service Management Intern supports daily operations within the Food Service Department at NASCAR Speedpark. This role provides hands-on experience in leadership, team support, and guest experience management. You will assist leadership in maintaining safe and efficient operations while developing decision-making skills in a high-volume environment.
What you'll do#
- Support team communication, shift readiness, and operational flow.
- Assist with onboarding, training reinforcement, and coaching of team members.
- Prepare food items according to recipes, safety standards, and quality expectations.
- Maintain a positive, guest-focused dining environment and assist with guest concerns.
- Gain exposure to POS systems, cash-handling best practices, and inventory management.
- Help monitor dining areas for cleanliness and organization.
- Act as a team lead presence during assigned shifts as approved by leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Culinary, Hospitality, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in customer service, operations, or a team-based environment is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships.
- Demonstrated alignment with the PARC vision, mission, and core values.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and regularly lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with ServSafe Food Handler regulations is preferred.

- Location: Sevierville, Tennessee.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time with rolling start dates. Availability for weekends, holidays, and various shifts (day, night, 8-12 hour shifts) is required.
