About the role#
The Construction Procurement Co-op supports the sourcing and management of materials, services, and contractors for capital construction and infrastructure projects. You will gain hands-on experience in public-sector procurement, contract administration, and cost management within a safety-critical environment. This role involves working with engineering, project management, and finance teams to support large-scale infrastructure work.
What you'll do#
- Support sourcing and procurement activities for construction and capital projects.
- Assist in preparing and analyzing RFPs, RFQs, and bid evaluations.
- Conduct supplier and market research to inform sourcing strategies.
- Help manage contract documentation, compliance, and procurement records.
- Track spend, savings, and supplier performance metrics.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies or sophomore status at minimum.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.

- Compensation: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
