About the role#
This 10-week summer internship places you within the Procurement and Supply Chain department at CSX. You will work on projects designed to improve decision-making and financial performance while gaining exposure to corporate operations. The program runs from May 24, 2027, to July 30, 2027, at the company headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a paid, full-time position requiring up to 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Work with business partners to analyze marketing, operating, and capital projects to understand economic tradeoffs.
- Provide analytical support for operations reviews, resource allocations, and financial valuations.
- Help develop short- and long-term strategies for the supply chain and procurement of resources.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management to communicate your analysis.
What you'll need#
- You must be a rising senior or graduate student enrolled in an accredited university.
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
