About the role#
The Operations Control Center (OCC) Intern supports data-driven decision-making at CSX. You will focus on compiling, analyzing, and reporting data related to gate errors. This role involves identifying trends and finding opportunities for process improvement. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects involving system enhancements.
What you'll do#
- Collect and compile operational data regarding gate errors and related metrics.
- Analyze data to identify root causes, trends, and process improvement opportunities.
- Develop reports and visual dashboards to share findings with stakeholders.
- Partner with OCC team members on capital projects involving systems development or enhancement.
- Support process improvements by documenting procedures.
- Participate in meetings and present data-driven insights to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Rising senior or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Availability to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Location: Jacksonville, Florida.
- Work Modality: On-site at CSX Headquarters.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24, 2027 to July 30, 2027).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Housing support is available for eligible interns.
