About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship within the Finance Department at CSX. You will work on real projects, collaborate with company leaders, and gain exposure to corporate finance operations. This program runs from May 24, 2027, to July 30, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Build financial models to quantify benefits and guide economic decisions.
- Provide analytical support for operations reviews, resource allocations, and financial valuations.
- Help develop short- and long-term forecasts, plans, and strategies.
- Use data analytics, automation, business intelligence, and AI tools to analyze business performance.
- Present your project findings, recommendations, and key insights to executive leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a rising senior or graduate student at an accredited college or university.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site at the CSX headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida.
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- Eligible interns may receive complimentary housing for the duration of the program.
