About the role#
As an Operational Finance Intern, you will support the finance team while learning how TTX Company connects field operations to financial performance. You will contribute to analytics, process improvement, dashboard creation, forecasting, and automation initiatives. This role involves gaining hands-on experience with financial systems and working directly with partners in equipment, maintenance planning, and shop operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with quarterly forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and management presentations.
- Develop and document Microsoft Copilot or AI-enabled automation use cases.
- Collaborate with Equipment, Maintenance Planning, and Shop Operations teams.
- Analyze the Field Maintenance Operations (FMO) Optimization project to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Support FMO planning and forecasting by documenting workflows and reducing cycle times.
- Complete month-end journal entries and reporting tasks.
- Build, validate, and enhance Power BI dashboards to track operational and financial performance.
- Present analysis and findings regarding the FMO Optimization project to leadership.
- Travel to an FMO or RSO location to observe TTX operations in the field.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree as a Sophomore or Junior.
- Major in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organization, time management, and planning skills.
- Ability to communicate issues and recommend solutions in a professional manner.
- An interest in financial planning, operational finance, and technology-enabled automation.
- Aptitude for problem solving, critical thinking, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with Power BI, Oracle systems, or data analytics is a plus.
- Ability to work as a team player across different departments.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- This position is for a rolling term.
