About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within the legal department of Wasserman, focusing on team sports talent. The role is designed for law students seeking to gain experience in contract drafting, legal research, and departmental collaboration within the sports and entertainment industry.
What you'll do#
- Review, draft, and edit various contracts, including sponsorship, endorsement, appearance, and content creation agreements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on specific questions.
- Draft memos and opinions that include research findings, recommendations, and conclusions.
- Collaborate with members of the legal department across all company offices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a 2L or 3L at an ABA-approved US law school.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong work ethic and an unparalleled attention to detail.
- A willingness to ask questions and learn.
- Ability to earn law school credit, as this is an unpaid internship.
Location & details#
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 9, 2026, through December 11, 2026).
- Commitment: 20 hours per week.
- Modality: Remote, with eligibility across all 50 US states and Washington, D.C.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship; candidates must be eligible to receive law school credit to participate.
