About the role#
This internship is based in the Information Security Department in New York City. You will report to the Manager of Information Security and assist the team in securing information assets. The role focuses on supporting the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) function and helping to build a security-first culture.
What you'll do#
- Provide daily operational and administrative support to the GRC team.
- Evaluate the security posture and compliance practices of prospective third parties.
- Prepare reports on risk findings and security gaps.
- Update and maintain the third-party asset inventory within the GRC tool.
- Help develop and improve third-party risk management processes.
- Create and deliver materials for information security awareness and training programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, unambiguous instructions.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or PCI DSS is helpful.
- Experience with GRC tools such as RSA Archer is a plus.

- This is a full-time, paid internship with a target rate of $24.00 per hour.
