Insomniac - Paid Fall Legal Intern

About the role#

Insomniac Events is seeking a motivated Legal Intern to join the team in Calabasas, California. This role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in the legal operations of a major live entertainment company. You will report to the VP of Business & Legal Affairs and contribute to drafting, research, and analytical projects throughout the Fall 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Learn how laws and regulations are actively applied and implemented in a real-world setting.
• Prepare, review, analyze, and finalize transactional documents.
• Analyze issues pertinent to the development of production and programming.
• Conduct general legal research related to company business operations.
• Work during holidays, evening, and weekend hours as required to meet project deadlines.

What you'll need#

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited law school as a rising 2L or 3L.
• Previous industry experience prior to law school is a plus.
• Ability to commit to 16-29 hours per week.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, motivated attitude.
• Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac brands is preferred.
