Paid Fall Community Engagement Intern

About the role#

Insomniac Events is seeking a creative and motivated Community Engagement Intern to join our team in Calabasas for the Fall 2026 term. This role focuses on the intersection of music culture, community-building, and digital storytelling. You will support the team in developing initiatives that enhance the attendee experience and help bridge the gap between our brands and our community.

What you'll do#

• Support the brainstorming and execution of creative, attendee-focused initiatives.
• Assist with the ideation of on-site activations, interactive moments, and community-driven experiences.
• Track, organize, and analyze attendee feedback, trends, and sentiment across social platforms.
• Contribute ideas for social-first engagement moments that align with the company's voice and culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Social, Marketing, Operations, and Production to ensure community insights inform brand decisions.
• Assist with internal documentation, project recaps, and creative workflows.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school, with a focus in Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Psychology, or Business Administration.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work on-site in the Calabasas, CA office at least 2 days per week.
• A motivated, "everything is possible" attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• A sense of urgency for both large and small projects.
• Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands is a plus.

Location & details#

• Location: Calabasas, California.
• Term: Fall 2026.
• Commitment: 16–29 hours per week.
• Compensation: Paid internship ($16.90 – $18.00 per hour).
• Note: This is an on-site role. Candidates must possess work authorization; sponsorship is not provided. You may be required to work during holidays, evenings, and weekends to meet project deadlines.
