About the role#
Insomniac Events is looking for a Community Engagement Intern to join our team in Calabasas for the Fall 2026 term. This role focuses on the creative and experiential side of our brand, helping us build meaningful connections with our community. You will support the team in documenting, executing, and ideating initiatives that improve the experience for our Headliners.
What you'll do#
- Brainstorm and execute creative, Headliner-focused initiatives for our events.
- Assist with ideation for on-site activations, interactive moments, and community-driven experiences.
- Track, organize, and analyze Headliner feedback, trends, and sentiment across social platforms.
- Develop ideas for social-first engagement moments that reflect our voice and culture.
- Collaborate with Social, Marketing, Operations, and Production teams to ensure community insights influence brand decisions.
- Assist with internal documentation, recaps, and post-event insights.
- Support creative workflows and project organization.
What you'll need#
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Psychology, or Business Administration.
- Motivated with an everything is possible attitude.
- Active problem solver with a strong sense of urgency for projects.
- Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac brands is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in Calabasas, California.
- You must be able to work from the office at least 2 days per week.
- The typical commitment is 16 to 29 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
- You must possess work authorization in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
