About the role#
Insomniac is seeking a motivated PR & Promo Intern to join the records team for the Fall 2026 term. This paid, on-site position offers hands-on experience within a music group focused on dance culture. You will work from the Calabasas, California office with a typical commitment of 16-29 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Supplement outreach efforts across various streaming and media channels.
- Build and maintain an internal database of third-party playlists, press partners, radio contacts, and tastemakers.
- Draft and edit content for singles, EPs, albums, and compilations.
- Monitor correspondence and manage pending PR and promotional requests.
- Provide on-site support at events as needed.
What you'll need#
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or Media Studies.
- Strong knowledge of dance music and Insomniac brands.
- A motivated, proactive attitude with an 'Everything is possible' mindset.
