Insomniac - Paid Fall Music Group PR & Promo Intern

About the role#

Insomniac is seeking a motivated and proactive PR & Promo Intern to join the records team for the Fall 2026 term. This paid internship provides hands-on experience in a professional entertainment environment, requiring an active problem solver who is passionate about dance music and the public relations field.

What you'll do#

• Supplement outreach across various streaming and media channels.
• Facilitate the growth of an internal database including third-party playlists, press partners, radio contacts, and tastemakers.
• Draft and edit content for singles, EPs, albums, and compilations.
• Monitor correspondence and field pending PR and promotional requests.
• Provide support at events on-site as needed.
• Maintain internal resources and assist with research projects or pitch decks.

What you'll need#

• Must be 18 years of age or older and currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school.
• Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or Media Studies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands.
• A motivated, "Everything is possible" attitude.
• Ability to work on-site in Calabasas, CA.
