About the role#
Insomniac Events is seeking a Public Relations intern for the Fall 2026 term. This paid, full-time position offers hands-on experience in the entertainment industry. You will support the PR team with daily operations, media outreach, and project coordination. This role is based on-site in Calabasas, California.
What you'll do#
- Draft press releases, media pitches, and various written materials.
- Assist with media relations by building media lists and crafting quotes.
- Monitor press coverage and compile daily reports for the team.
- Manage incoming media requests for club shows and festivals.
- Coordinate with external agencies on fact-checking and announcement schedules.
- Support internal research projects and maintain festival information on company sites.
What you'll need#
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school.
- Preferred fields of study include Public Relations, Communications, English, or entertainment-industry majors.
- Previous internship or work experience in public relations is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Drive.
