About the role#
Emo Nite is looking for a motivated Production Intern to join our team in Calabasas, California. This is a hands-on, on-site position for individuals interested in the music industry, specifically the emo and alternative scene. You will support our production team with daily operations, event logistics, and content creation.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and update company databases and calendars, including Airtable and Google Calendar.
- Assist the Production Manager and Coordinator with event operations, including theme research, scenic procurement, and staffing.
- Coordinate logistics for Emo Nite teams across different regions.
- Aggregate information for digital outlets and assist with shooting content for Emo Nite Radio and social media pages.
- Support onsite event operations for Grave Raves and festivals.
- Manage merchandise for OOT parties and line launches.
- Maintain the physical warehouse space and assist with various errands.
What you'll need#
- A genuine interest in the music industry, emo/rock music, and the Emo Nite brand.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana or Airtable.
- A valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to work in an open office space and handle onsite event environments, including loud noise and varying temperatures.
- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Communications, Media Studies, or Marketing.
