About the role#
Insomniac Events is looking for a Street Marketing Intern to join our team in Calabasas for Winter 2027. This paid, part-time position offers hands-on experience in live event and promotional marketing. You will work closely with the Street Marketing team on a variety of tasks, ranging from office-based coordination to grassroots marketing execution in the field. This is an on-site role that requires travel to various locations in the greater Los Angeles area.
What you'll do#
- Support the Street Marketing team with daily administrative tasks and project coordination.
- Help prepare marketing materials, including flyers, signage, and other promotional assets for upcoming campaigns.
- Conduct research on local markets, community events, audience trends, and grassroots opportunities.
- Manage inventory, organize marketing supplies, and maintain storage areas.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age and currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Ability to work out of our Calabasas office and travel throughout the greater Los Angeles area as needed.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors, on foot, and independently for extended periods.
- Physical ability to carry, hang, and distribute marketing materials, including lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Comfort engaging with the public and representing our brand professionally.
- Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac brands.
- Basic knowledge of Google Workspace is preferred.
- An active problem-solving mindset with a sense of urgency for tasks.
- Availability to work during holidays, evenings, and weekends when required.
Location & details#
- Location: Calabasas, California.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Commitment: Part-time, approximately 16 to 29 hours per week.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $16.90 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
