About the role#
TMZ is seeking a Social Media Intern to join the team for the Fall 2026 term. This role offers hands-on experience in newsgathering, television production, and digital content creation within a leading entertainment news organization. Interns will work directly with the social media team to support content strategy and production.
What you'll do#
- Create original content for TMZ and partner brands.
- Edit video content using Adobe Premiere.
- Conduct research to support social media initiatives.
- Assist with camera shoots.
- Contribute to the broader production process at TMZ.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in college.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or Graphic Design.
- Demonstrated knowledge of social media and entertainment news through coursework or prior experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere.
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, consisting of at least two 10-hour shifts.
- Availability for a work shift that begins at 6:00AM.
