About the role#
The TMZ Social Media Internship offers students exposure to newsgathering, television production, and digital content creation. Interns work directly with the social media team to contribute to the production process while learning from senior staff through hands-on experience and informative speaker sessions.
What you'll do#
- Create original content for TMZ and partner brands.
- Edit video content using Adobe Premiere.
- Perform research to support social media initiatives.
- Assist with camera shoots.
- Participate in the broader TMZ production process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in college.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or Graphic Design.
- Demonstrated knowledge in your field of study, coursework, or previous professional experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Term: October 2026 through December 2026.
- Commitment: Minimum of 20 hours per week, consisting of at least two 10-hour days.
- Schedule: Ability to work shifts starting at 6:00 AM.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time, paid position at $18.42 per hour.
